Design

Design starts once paid. Up to three drafts are included.

Check every name and date on the proof, then give the go-ahead.

3 to 5 working days as standard. Express when the diary allows.

    Working days only. Bank holidays can add a day, and the print time follows our current turnaround notice.

    Nothing goes to print until you've seen it. Every order gets a digital proof within 48 hours, up to three rounds of changes, and the same designer from first message to collection.

    Your proof

    What your proof looks like.

    A digital proof arrives by email within 48 hours (working days) of paying. Reply "approved", or tell us what to change. Up to three rounds are included.

    1. 1Every name and spelling. Read it slowly, letter by letter, in every language on it.
    2. 2The date and day. Check the day of the week matches the date.
    3. 3Colours. Screens vary a little, so ask if you want a shade warmer or deeper.
    4. 4Size and quantity. They're printed on the proof so you can check them against your order.

    Paper and finish

    How each paper feels.

    We're photographing every paper up close. Until then, here's what each one is like in the hand, and what we use it for.

    Silk, 350gsm

    Smooth with a soft sheen. Colours print crisp and bright.

    Used for: A6 and A5 cards

    Gloss

    Shiny and vivid. Photos and bold colours pop.

    Used for: Favour cards, stickers

    Uncoated matte

    No sheen, a gentle tooth, and easy to write on.

    Used for: A5 cards, favour cards

    Recycled uncoated

    Warm white with tiny natural flecks.

    Used for: A5 cards

    Hammered

    A dimpled finish, like beaten metal. Catches the light.

    Used for: Premium favour cards

    Tintoretto Gesso

    Chalky and heavy with a soft felt-marked surface.

    Used for: A5 invitations and dua cards

    Fresco Gesso

    A fine, even chalk texture. Quiet and very elegant.

    Used for: A5 invitations and dua cards

    Rigid board

    A matte print on a stiff board that stands on an easel.

    Used for: Welcome boards

    Quotes come first

    Every bespoke order is quoted on its own details. There's no minimum order and nothing is charged until you confirm. Design work begins once payment is in.

    Three drafts, then your approval

    Personalised orders get a digital proof with up to three rounds of changes. Check names, dates and spellings carefully, because once approved it goes to print and changes can't be guaranteed.

    Order early for events

    Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 working days, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Boards and signage need at least 3 to 4 working days' notice. Wedding season gets busy, so book ahead.

    Express when we can

    Need it sooner? Tick express in the basket or message us first. Express depends on our workload and carries an extra charge.

    Cancellations

    Ask as early as you can. Once production has started a cancellation may not be possible, subject to your statutory rights.

    Ways to pay

    Debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Klarna and other buy-now-pay-later options where available and eligible.

    Collect for free, or we'll post it tracked.

    Delivery time is on top of production time. Charges are shown before you pay. International orders are quoted individually.
